alfalfaAlfalfa sprouts are rich in vitamins B1, B2, C, E, K, and above all vitamin A. They are packed with proteins and minerals, such as phosphorus, calcium (5 times more than in milk), magnesium, iron, potassium and sulphur.

 

They are an excellent source of energy and are used to restore health in cases of convalescence, anaemia and haemorrhage. Since alfalfa sprouts foster bone mineralisation, they are recommended to offset the effects of menopause and osteoporosis.
